ReUseIt, LLC is a family-owned, professional trucking and logistics organization. ReUseIt is a Registered Commercial Fundraiser in the states in which we operate, and upholds all Local, State & Federal laws pertaining to Registered Commercial Fundraisers. We are not a nonprofit organization, but we do partner with local nonprofit organizations to help them raise awareness & funding for their local programs and services. We offer unique fundraising opportunities to local community-based nonprofit organizations. We contract with our local charity partners to pick-up and/or collect household donations on their behalf. The leadership team at ReUseIt has been providing household recycling solutions and working in partnership with nonprofit organizations since 1972.
All donations collected by ReUseIt are sold directly to local thrift stores and local thrift store suppliers. The sale of the donations is what enables the local nonprofit to generate the needed funding for their programs & services. This WIN-WIN partnership is a great way to give back to the local community.
YES. All donations of usable clothing and household items are tax deductible. ReUseIt will give you a tax receipt at the time of your donation.
We accept electronic donations. We do offer all of our donations for resale, so it is important that you protect your privacy by deleting any personal data from your hard drives and digital/electronic devices. Any electronic donations not sold for resale are destroyed properly. Proudly working together with ecollective, powered by ECS Refining and California Electronic Asset Recovery, Inc., – two of the largest, most reputable electronics recycling organizations in the industry, ReUseIt guarantees that all unwanted and obsolete electronics not sold for resale in our California markets are destroyed and recycled properly. The recycling process involves many steps including separation, dismantling, shredding, smelting and reprocessing. As part of our California State reporting requirements, we do need your name, address and phone number. It is guaranteed that this information will be used for California State reporting purposes only.
