How long with the Mobile Donation Drop Box Remain on Site?

ReUseIt will place the Mobile Donation Drop Box(es) on your school /location for the agreed upon period of time per your signed Mobile Donation Drop Box agreement . The time period could range from four days to two and one-half weeks. The Mobile Donation Drop Box(es) will be removed promptly at the end of your donation drive event, usually by the following day.

How often will ReUseIt collect the donations?

ReUseIt will place the Mobile Donation Drop Box(es) on your school /location for the agreed upon period of time per your signed Mobile Donation Drop Box agreement . What happens if the Mobile Donation Drop Box is vandalized?

ReUseIt will immediately clean or replace any Donation Drop Box this is worn or vandalized.

How & when will our organization be paid for donations from the Mobile Drop Box Program?

Collections are weighed at each pick-up. The hosting organization is paid by the pound, and so the funding will vary depending on the amount of donations collected. The hosting organization will receive a check 30 days following the event.

What is the cancellation policy for the Mobile Donation Drop Box Program?

ReUseIt is fully committed to customer service. If for any reason you are not happy with our service or the Mobile Donation Drop Box Program, you may cancel the partnership at any time. ReUseIt will promptly remove the Mobile Donation Drop Box upon your request.

What items does ReUseIt accept/not accept in the Mobile Donation Drop Box?

USABLE CLOTHING OR SMALL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS THAT WILL FIT IN THE DONATION BOX SLOT including:

  • Clothing & Shoes: ALL TYPES of gently used clothing, accessories and shoes for adults, children and babies. Clothing is our #1 need!
  • Other miscellaneous ‘soft goods’ such as: Jewelry, Toys, Movies/DVDs, Bedding, Fabric, Linens and other small, non-breakable items.

    • What if people have donations that will not fit in the Mobile Donation Box?

    In order to ensure your organization receives payment for these donations, donors should hold onto their larger donations and save them for a planned/scheduled onsite Donation Drive when we will have our ReUseIt trucks on-site. If the donor cannot wait to donate, ReUseIt’s contact information is on the Mobile Donation Drop Box. Donations made via our Household Donation Pick-Up Program and/or our Drive-Thru Donation Centers, are not included in the on-site Mobile Donation Drop Box fundraising program.

    How does the Mobile Donation Drop Box Program work?

    ReUseIt will place one or more Mobile Donation Drop Boxes at your school/location.

    Your school/organization will promote the Mobile Donation Drop Box as a convenient way to:

    1. Recycle their usable clothing & household items
    2. Raise money for your school/organization! It is this WIN/WIN scenario that enables ReUseIt to remain fully committed to making a difference LOCALLY.
